Ordering & Shipping Policy:

All orders are processed within 5 to 10 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. ***Once an order is placed online, it cannot be canceled***

THINGS TO CONSIDER:

As soon as an order has been placed in our system, we cannot cancel or make changes to the order. Please double-check the itmes in your cart and verify the accuracy of your billing and shipping information before confirming your order. We do not refund or replace items that have been shipped to an address that was shipped incorrectly.
If your tracking number indicates that your order has been delivered to the address provided and you have not received your order, please contact your mail carrier to file a claim.
If you live in an apartment with a common mailroom, please consider shipping your package to an alternate address to minimize the risk of theft. We do not reship orders that have been tracked and delivered to the provided address.
All customers who place orders that are shipping internationally (outside of the USA) are personally responsible for any fees that may occur through customs / the process of being imported.

Only ONE discount code is allowed per transaction. Subscription Boxes, Autoships, Fundraising Candles, Buy 1 Get 1, Clearance Items and Sidewalk Sale Items will always be excluded from all coupons.

Package Insurance

All customers are eligible to purchase package insurance through our Guide Shipping Protection. Packaging insurance is an automatically selected service that is used when an order has been lost in transit as well as when a package is displaying as delivered and is missing. Surf's Up Candle is not liable for orders that have deselected product protection.

In-store pickup:

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 1703 Main Street, Belmar NJ. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 5 to 7 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. When you pick up your order please bring your photo ID. You are only allowed to pick up your own order, we are unable to have someone pick up an order not under their name.

Our in-store pickup hours are 9am-5pm Mon-Fri & 10am-5pm Sat. & Sun. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

Return Policy:

All merchandise must be returned unused and in its original packaging within 30 days of purchase date. Any candles damaged or burnt will not be accepted. Candles may be returned for store credit only. Bath & Body Products as well as Blankets and Towels are final sale and can not be returned or exchanged.

Please Note: The customer is responsible for ALL shipping and handling costs. Surf's Up Candle does not refund original or return shipping charges. Surf's Up Candle is not responsible for items that are lost while in transit to us, so, we recommend insuring your return package. If you received free shipping on your order, the original shipping costs will be deducted from your store credit if your order is returned. If you received flat rate shipping on your order, the actual shipping costs will be deducted from your store credit.

Terms and Conditions

Eligibility: The Surf's Up Sally competition is open to participants aged 18 and above. Employees of Surfs Up Candle and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

How to Enter: To enter the competition, participants must first register at Surf's Up Sally. After registration, participants are to post photos or short videos featuring a Surfs Up Candle in a creative or fun location on their public social media account(s), using the hashtag #SurfsUpSally and tagging @surfsupcandle. Participants may use any Surf’s Up Candle they own or purchase products on their own accord. Candles are to be documented on a journey through multiple posts that tells a story in different locations. As deadline approaches, email prompts will be sent out to each participant to submit their final entries to be considered as finalists.

Submission Deadline: The competition begins on 04-26-24and ends on 06-05-24. Entries submitted after the closing date will not be considered.

Selection of Winners: Ten finalists will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by Surfs Up Candle based on creativity, originality, and adherence to the theme. Finalists will be notified via email provided for entry.

Public Voting: The ten finalists' entries will be displayed on Surfs Up Candle's social media channels for public voting. The entry with the highest number of likes will be awarded first place, followed by second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, & tenth places. Winners will be announced on [announcement date].

Prizes: Prizes for the Surf's Up Sally competition are as follows:

1st Place: $1,000 Visa gift card

2nd Place: $500 Visa gift card

3rd Place: $250 Visa gift card

4th-10th Place: Free Medium Surfs Up Candle

Rights to Entries: By entering the competition, participants grant Surfs Up Candle the right to use their submitted photos or videos, along with their social media handle(s) in perpetuity, for promotional and commercial purposes. This includes but is not limited to, sharing on Surfs Up Candle's website, social media channels, advertisements, and other marketing materials.

Liability: Surfs Up Candle is not responsible for any lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or ineligible entries, or for any injuries, technical failures, or malfunctions that may occur before, during, or after competition. Participants assume all risk of loss, damage, destruction, delay, or misdirection of materials submitted to Surfs Up Candle nor will participants hold Surfs Up Candle & Charming Candle, LLC liable for said outcomes.

General Conditions: Surfs Up Candle reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the competition if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the competition. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Governing Law: The Surf's Up Sally competition and these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Jersey.
